YOUTH 15-18

Youth between the ages of 15 - 18 years old are encouraged to apply. No boxing experience is required, gloves and hand wraps will be provided.

Program Dates:

Monday April 13 to Wednesday June 10, 2026

Participants must choose between the following two program options:
4:30 - 6:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

OR
4:30 - 6:30 PM on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

The first hour of the program focuses on non-contact boxing instruction led by our Boxing Ontario certified coaches and the second hour includes a shared meal, homework and social support as requested + games, new friends and leadership opportunities! Both hours are mandatory.

Participating youth are expected to attend three times a week for the full two hours unless other commitments conflict with the program. If a participant misses a session, they must attend a drop-in boxing class offered on Saturday to make up for the missed session.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • 13th Round has a strict no cell phone policy. When youth arrive at the gym they are expected to hand in their cell phone to a 13th Round staff member and it will be returned at 6:30.  There are no exceptions. An email address that is monitored by 13th Round will be made available should a parent or guardian need to contact a youth during program hours.

  • No! 13th Round will provide you with hand wraps and gloves for the program duration.

  • Yes! You will have time for homework at the beginning of each session. If you need help the staff can work through it with you.

  • No! A boxing class can include boxers who are new while also including boxers who are more experienced, it’s no problem at all.

  • A light snack will be available when you arrive and the entire group have a team dinner together during the second hour of the program.

  • Yes, both hours are an important part of the program so you must commit to participating in both.

  • We ask that you change into comfortable clothing and a clean pair of indoor athletic shoes for boxing. Outdoor shoes and boots are not allowed in the gym.
