Free BOXING + LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM

YOUTH 15-18

Youth between the ages of 15 - 18 years old are encouraged to apply. No boxing experience is required, gloves and hand wraps will be provided.

Program Dates:
Monday, February 2 to Wednesday, April 1, 2026

Program Times:
Mondays, Wednesdays + Fridays
4:30 to 6:30 PM

The first hour of the program focuses on non-contact boxing instruction led by our Boxing Ontario certified coaches and the second hour includes a shared meal, homework and social support as requested + games, new friends and leadership opportunities! Both hours are mandatory.

Participating youth are expected to attend three times a week for the full two hours unless other commitments conflict with the program. If a participant misses a Monday, Wednesday or Friday session they must attend a drop-in boxing class offered on either Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday to make up for the missed session.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • 13th Round has a strict no cell phone policy. When you arrive at the gym you’ll be expected to hand in your cell phone to a 13th Round staff member and it will be returned to you at 6:30.  There are no exceptions.

  • No! 13th Round will provide you with hand wraps and gloves for the program duration.

  • Yes! You will have time for homework at the beginning of each day. If you require help with your work, the staff will be able to work through it with you.

  • No! Our team will work with you no matter what level you are starting from.

  • A meal will be provided after the boxing lesson.

  • Yes, both hours are an important part of the program so you must commit to participating in both.

  • We ask that you change into comfortable clothing and a clean pair of indoor athletic shoes for boxing.
